Movie Review: Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1

Mockingjay Part 1 is the third movie in the Hunger Games trilogy. Like the Harry

Potter and Twilight movies, the last movie has been divided into two parts, and

similar to the penultimate Harry Potter movie, Deathly Hallows, this movie felt like

it was just building up to the final movie. The whole movie felt like we were waiting

for something bigger to happen, despite the many action-packed scenes that we’ve

come to expect from the series.

The focus of the movie is more about the rebellion against the capital than the

relationships between the characters, which is a good or bad thing depending on

what you like in your movies. However, the consistency within this whole series has

been Jennifer Lawrence’s phenomenal performance, which is as good here as in the

other movies.

Overall, I would recommend this movie because it’s a pretty good continuation of

the trilogy.
