- Passion fruit – Passion fruits are part of the Passifloraceae family, which includes Passion flowers as well.

- Figs – Figs are one of the oldest known fruits in the world: fig trees were one of the first fruit trees to be domesticated in Egypt or Arabia around 4 000 B.C.

- Rhubarb – Rhubarb plants can grow up to 5 feet tall!

- Dragon fruit – The name ‘dragon fruit’ has been used since 1963. The name comes from the scaly spikes found on the outside of the fruit, similar to a dragon’s skin, or to the fire it breathes.

Watermelon – Giovanni Stanchi’s painting from the 17th century demonstrates how much watermelon has changed since being bred into the brightly red coloured and larger watermelons we know today.
