Hey Falcons!
For this month’s addition of the Golden Falcon, I had the pleasure of interviewing Forest Hill’s very own child and youth worker, Ms. Cimera, in The Hive!
Now going into this interview, I was really nervous, because throughout my entire high school experience at this school (which is quite literally three years going on four), I’ve personally never been to The Hive. I didn’t know what it would be like or what Ms. Cimera was like, because aside from casual small talk here and there, she and I had never really had a conversation before. However, I found our conversation super enjoyable and I learned things that I wish I knew sooner.
For starters, I think it’s crazy I’ve never been to The Hive before or had a proper conversation with Ms. Cimera, because she was super amazing to work with and has very quickly became one of my favourite adults in the building!
A few things we spoke about are:
How she reaches out to students – 1:00
The easiest way for a student to reach out to her – 2:40
One piece of advice that she’d like to give all students – 3:45
Overall, Ms. Cimera was really great to work with when coordinating this interview and I truly did have a super great time talking to her! If you’re ever looking for a spot to chill or a person to talk to, I highly recommend going to see her in The Hive.
And that’s the tea, XOXO,
R.H
