– What grade are you in?
“Grade 11.”
– Are you happy to be back at school? Why?
“Yeah kind of. I like school but I do miss online school because I had a nice routine going on and its kinda hard to stay motivated. I do like seeing my friends and teachers everyday though.”
– What are you looking forward to most throughout your remaining high school years?
“That’s a great question, I am looking forward to SAP (Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology) because I find that topic really interesting. I am also looking forward to spending more time with my friends because of the time we missed out on together during Covid.”
– What advice would you give your grade 9 self?
“That the two-week break is not only two weeks. Cherish normal school life without a mask. Also it doesn’t matter what other people think so do want you want cause people judge anyways.”
– Who do you look up to the most, and what qualities do you love about that person?
“I look up to my grandmother the most because she is selfless, caring, loving, smart, and is always there for me and my family.”
– What’s your all-time favourite memory?
“Good question, I have multiple but my favourite school memory was when I was seven years old, at my old school, and I was performing in a dance recital. I ran onto the stage while other students were performing and yelled, “Hi”, to my grandmother. It’s funny memory but also really sweet to look back on. It’s also one of my grandmothers favourite memories.”
– Where do you hope to be ten years from now?
“In ten years I hope I am happy. That’s really all I can wish for. I also hope I don’t let money and success affect me too much because family, friends, and having good values is all that really matters to me. In ten years I better be done school though!”
