Humans of FHCI – Laura Wigdor

By Jamie Kerzner and Georgia Blatt

What is your favourite and least favourite thing about Grade 12?

“My favourite thing about grade 12 is knowing that it’s my last year, so I can enjoy the time with my friends. My least favourite thing is all the work and how hard all the classes are. I did it to myself though, all of the science classes are insane.”

If you had to give one piece of advice to your Grade 9 self, what would it be?

“Marks don’t matter in grade 9 and 10, so don’t stress too much.”

Which teacher do you look up to the most and why?

“Definitely Ms. Pupovac, because she’s so sweet and you can really tell that she cares about you. And Ms. Ibe, because she’s so fun and so relatable.”

What is your valedictorian prediction?

 [restrict]
“Josh Blatt. He’s literally so smart at everything and he’s head prefect.”

If you could recommend one Grade 11 or 12 course, what would it be?

“Kinesiology, because it’s real application. The things you learn can actually relate to your every day life.”

Are you going to the semi-formal?

“Of course I am, I have school spirit!”

What is your first impression about second semester?

“So far, so good. My courses are hard, but my teachers seem good.”

What are your plans for after high school?

“My goal is to be a nurse. I’m still waiting to hear back from my top choice university but we’ll see!”

What has been your favourite high school memory?

“My favourite memory is Fo-chella last year, because the people who came had great school spirit and I had a really great time!”
