The movie “The Maze Runner”, based on the book by James Dashner is about a boy named Thomas (Dylan O’Brian) who finds himself trapped with others in an unknown place where they can’t escape due to a maze that surrounds them.

This is an action-packed movie with great visuals. This dystopian movie, while entertaining, is a lot like The Hunger Games, Divergent, and other trending teen dystopian stories. The characters are very flat and do not show a deeper or different part of themselves, although the plot line is engaging and the ending leaves the viewer wanting more. So, overall I would rate this movie 6.5/10.
